Lamarr Sanders
Lamarr Sanders is a visual artist and educator with a BA in Fine Arts from the College for
Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. Lamarr is the co-owner of Our Hour-Mobile Paint Party, LLC., a
social and educational art business that provides visual arts classes for fun, self-care, and skill-
building to people of all ages and groups. As a full-time fine arts instructor, Lamarr has taught in
various settings, including St. Fabian Catholic School, Wayne State University, and Jalen Rose
Academy. Lamarr has also provided virtual art lessons for Living Arts and the Upward Bound
Trio program, contracted through Our Hour. In addition, Lamarr has taught art classes in the
homeschooling community and in after-school programming for Frederick Douglass High School
of the Detroit Public Schools Community District. Lamarr is a member of the Detroit Fine Arts
Breakfast Club and can be found on Instagram.
